Job Summary

Ubisoft, a global leader in gaming, is seeking a Lead Programmer for their Rainbow Six Siege feature team. This role involves focusing on various progression systems, designing clean and flexible solutions, and leading an interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will mentor programmers, ensure code quality, collaborate with artists and designers on UI systems, and coordinate all phases of software development from planning to release. The position requires strong C++ skills and leadership experience.

Must Have

  • Master or Bachelor degree in (Applied) Computer Science or similar qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong C++ skills
  • Leadership experience as team lead or people manager
  • Good understanding of the MVVM paradigm
  • Good understanding of modern Software Engineering
  • Solution oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and desire to work as a team-player
  • Self-direction and motivation
  • Fluent in English

You will become a part of our feature team, focusing on various progression systems within Rainbow Six Siege. Your solutions are cleanly designed, favor simplicity, and are flexible enough to allow for future expansion.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Master or Bachelor degree in (Applied) Computer Science or similar qualifications with a strong technical background
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong C++ skills
  • Leadership experience as team lead or people manager
  • Good understanding of the MVVM paradigm
  • Good understanding of modern Software Engineering
  • Solution oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and desire to work as a team-player
  • Self-direction and motivation
  • Fluent in English
  • A strong interest in the video game industry is a plus
