Lead Software Engineer, AI Accelerator Group

Location: Gurgaon, India (Hybrid)

We are building a new, specialized AI Accelerator Group. This team's mission is to accelerate AI adoption across our business by designing and building end-to-end AI solutions. This is your chance to get on the ground floor and build the products that will redefine our industry.

Your Mission: Be a Hands-On AI Innovator

As Lead Software Engineer, you are the technical heart of the AI Accelerator Group. You will guide the team to transform ambitious AI concepts into robust, scalable, and high-quality software. You are both a mentor and a master builder, setting the standard for technical excellence.

• You will lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end cutting-edge AI solutions.

• You will apply your deep knowledge of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and microservice architecture to build performant solutions.

• You will work across the full stack, using your expertise in C#, .NET, SQL, and modern front-end frameworks like React/Angular.

• You will mentor a talented team of engineers, leading by example, managing tasks, and fostering a culture of innovation and quality.

• You'll work closely with architects and product managers to ensure your team's deliverables are high-quality and on time.

Your Technical Toolkit & Experience

We are looking for a leader whose skills bridge world-class software engineering with a genuine passion for applying AI to solve real-world problems.

1. Core Software Engineering Mastery:

• Expertise in an Object-Oriented Language: Deep, proven expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem. We are also open to exceptional candidates with a similar depth of experience in Java, Python, or Go who are willing to adapt.

• Architectural Excellence: You have designed and built scalable, resilient systems using microservice architecture, REST APIs, and modern design patterns.

• Cloud Native Fluency: You have hands-on experience deploying and managing services on a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Database Proficiency: Strong command of both SQL and an understanding of when to use NoSQL databases.

2. Applied AI Exposure & Interest:

• LLM Integration Experience: You have hands-on experience building applications or proof of concepts (PoC) that integrate with major LLM APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini).

• AI Orchestration Interest: You have experience with, or a strong interest in, AI orchestration frameworks like Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.

• Semantic Search Concepts: You are familiar with the concepts behind semantic search and vector databases (e.g., RAG).

• Model Context Management: You have exposure to, or an interest in, systems for managing model state and context, such as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.

3. Leadership & Mentorship:

• Proven Technical Leadership: You have 8+ years of software development experience, with a clear track record of leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, and driving technical projects to completion.

• Exceptional Collaboration: You are a superb communicator who can translate complex technical concepts for product managers and business stakeholders.
