The Lead Test/Safety Observer for the DeCPTR-Nuclear project is responsible for overseeing nuclear radiation survivability testing events, ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures and protocols. This role involves verifying that testing activities align with established test plans and safety standards, documenting observations, and providing feedback for improvements. The individual will collaborate with testing teams and stakeholders to meet safety and testing objectives with precision and accuracy. Key responsibilities include testing oversight, safety assurance, objective verification, process monitoring, stakeholder communication, comprehensive documentation and reporting, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in testing processes and safety protocols.
Good To Have:- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or OHST certifications
- Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) certification or equivalent radiation safety training
- Strong understanding of nuclear radiation testing methodologies
- High attention to detail in observation and documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for nuclear radiation testing
Must Have:- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Safety Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test observation or safety management
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
