DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Works with development teams to define the testing needed for products
- Owns roadmap for team or project and resolves obstacles. Delegates to others appropriately
- Provides guidance to others. Exercises latitude in decision-making for their team
- Owns and manages key performance and quality indicators for a module
- Models great quality and improves others’ ability to deliver quality work
- Owns and defines testing workflow and systems for module. Identifies opportunities to improve team’s productivity
- Proactively shares information, solicits feedback and facilitates communication and collaboration across teams
- Spurs and facilitates meaningful discussion around complex issues
- Records defects in JIRA, attaches defect numbers to failed test cases, follows up on resolved issues, and assists PMs with bug triage
- Creates new test cases and test plans
- Provides test content and configures test servers
- Creates team documentation
- Leads collective results that are critical to achieving goals
- Owns decisions that impact the team’s ability to deliver
- Contributes to career development of others, identifying areas for focus and improvement. Creates opportunities for mentorship
- Delivers constructive, actionable feedback
- Provides test content and configures test servers
- Role model for evaluating talent and representing the company
- Provides feedback to more junior team members on interviewing skills
- Up to 5% travel, domestic and international
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced PC Skills (Word, Excel, and Visual Studio)
- Full understanding of testing methodologies and practices
- Six+ years of experience in testing
- AA in computer science or equivalent

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $76,819 - $115,229 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
