- Guide and mentor your team, sharing best practices and driving technical excellence.
- Define priorities and plan the development path, ensuring our XR app meets strategic goals.
- Coordinate task allocation, review code and architecture decisions, and monitor progress to keep projects on track.
- Interface with design, animation, AI, producer team and management to resolve complex challenges and align development efforts with the product vision.
- Collaborate with the XR team to build and refine our Unity app for visionOS, AndroidXR, and Meta Horizon OS.
- Integrate immersive XR elements across platforms by working closely with design, animation, and AI teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges unique to XR.
- Stay updated on XR trends and emerging Unity tools to keep our product ahead of the curve.
- Develop XR-specific components like 3D Character Controllers and Animator Controllers using C#/Unity and platform tools for visionOS, AndroidXR, and Meta Horizon OS.
- Optimize the app for performance and scalability across multiple devices.
- Create interactive features for 3D characters in shared and immersive XR environments.
- Build C# plugins and bridges that connect Unity with other XR libraries.
- Proven track record managing and mentoring development teams in XR or related fields.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectively while balancing technical detail with strategic vision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate across departments and drive alignment on technical decisions.
- Experience in making high-stakes technical decisions that shape product direction and resolve escalated issues.
- Extensive experience developing immersive XR applications in Unity, specifically for visionOS, AndroidXR, and Meta Horizon OS.
- Proven experience building multi-platform games or applications with Unity that run smoothly across different devices.
- A proven record of turning abstract ideas into engaging XR experiences that align with a broader product vision.
- Expertise in optimizing XR performance and solving spatial computing challenges.
- Advanced skills with Unity’s XR toolkits, animation systems, and rendering pipelines.
- High proficiency in C#, with a history of writing clean, reliable, and efficient code for XR.
- Experience integrating AI systems and interactive features in XR contexts.
- The ability to see the whole picture—connecting detailed challenges with overall product goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly adjust to changes in libraries, platforms, and operating systems.
