Game Tester (Internship)

Lanterns is a video game studio seeking a Game Tester Intern to join their quality assurance team. The intern will be responsible for creating test criteria, testing gameplay mechanics, UI/UX, performance, and visual quality. They will identify, document, and report bugs using a tracking system, and collaborate with the development team to resolve game anomalies. The role involves interpreting and executing QA processes and contributing to the overall game development. The daily life of a Game Tester Intern at Lanterns:

• Create test criteria based on backlog stories.
• Test gameplay mechanics, UI/UX, performance, and visual quality.
• Identify, document, and report bugs and other issues using our tracking system.
• Work with the development team to help resolve game anomalies.
• Interpret and execute quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines to contribute to the overall development and completion of the game.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Passionate about video games and familiar with various game genres.
• Basic understanding of game testing processes is a plus, but not required.
