The Legal and Compliance Lead will support operations in Argentina and Chile, ensuring legal integrity while fostering business growth. This role involves advising on commercial contracts, labor law, corporate governance, litigation, regulatory matters, competition, and intellectual property. The Lead will provide proactive risk management guidance and training, ensuring alignment with company principles. Key responsibilities include providing expert legal advice, managing external counsel, drafting and reviewing agreements, overseeing corporate governance, supporting business integrity, collaborating with cross-functional teams, representing the company in legal disputes, and monitoring advertising compliance.

The Legal and Compliance Lead will support operations in Argentina and Chile. This role plays a critical part in ensuring legal integrity while fostering business growth, advising on commercial contracts, labor law, corporate governance, litigation, regulatory matters, competition, and intellectual property. As a trusted business partner, you will provide proactive risk management guidance and training, ensuring alignment with company principles.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice across various business areas, including contracts, labor law, corporate governance, litigation, and compliance.
  • Manage external counsel efficiently, ensuring cost-effective legal support.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, safeguarding business interests.
  • Oversee corporate governance, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Support business integrity by fostering a strong compliance culture, advising on ethical matters, and ensuring adherence to policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Tax, Regulatory, Medical) to provide integrated legal solutions.
  • Represent the company in legal disputes and strategic litigation.
  • Monitor advertising compliance to ensure adherence to regulations and company values.
  • Play a leadership role within the Southern Cone Leadership Team.
