Job Purpose
Support the Demand forecasting process to fit with Operating model and Core Commercial Cycle. Manage end to end demand forecasting (both volume and value) across assigned categories to improve customer service, reduce e2e cogs and working capital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input into the key Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) meetings including Baseline, Forecast Review/Pre-Demand Review/Demand Review / Supply review.
- Lead discussion regarding to bottom-up volume forecast in Baseline, Forecast Review, Pre-DRM, DRM for assigned category and market. Raise Forecast gap between bottom-up sales vs. target with assumptions, risk and opportunities.
- Calculate stock replenishment forecast (Sell in) to distributors by SKU based on bottom-up sales out forecast, distributor ending inventory and contractual inventory cover day and release this forecast to supply planning hub and distributors.
- Work closely with Marketing, Regional Project and Supply Planning team regarding new products launches, product transition or other projects related to supply in the market.
- Coordinate cross functional teams to deliver sales gap closing opportunities as required for assigned category.
- Internal measurement and reporting of demand forecasting KPIs to drive improvements in forecast accuracy and bias, working capital and customer service. Understand forecast failure and provide action plan to close accuracy gap.
- Update forecast tool information.
- Apply working experience and best practice to improve KPI and forecasting process.
- Other tasks as assigned by Demand Planning Lead.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business/industrial/supply chain administration or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years in position of Demand Planner /Supply Chain Planning or equivalent.
- APICS related certificate is a plus
- Demonstrates proficiency in forecasting, planning, and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong understanding of demand forecasting tools and KPIs.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Experience with forecasting accuracy improvement and bias reduction.
- Familiarity with Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) processes.
