As a License Compliance Executive at Autodesk, you will manage license compliance leads, working with sales teams, partners, and legal to resolve compliance matters commercially. You will drive customer engagements, meet sales goals, and report to the License Compliance Sales Manager. This hybrid role involves discussing potential compliance issues with customers and ensuring commercial resolution, while also forecasting and achieving quarterly and annual sales targets within your territory.
Must have:
  • Drive, develop, execute, and monitor License Compliance Campaign strategy to meet and exceed revenue plan.
  • Identify and capture sales opportunities with under-licensed customers.
  • Assist customers in determining and purchasing correct levels of licenses.
  • Drive compliance reconciliation purchases and use compliance as a compelling event.
  • Research and identify under-licensed accounts and develop sales strategies.
  • Understand legal compliance framework and develop sales approaches.
  • Communicate written and oral messages to persuade customers to purchase software licenses.
  • Develop pipeline of enterprise compliance targets to meet revenue expectations.
  • Experience communicating and negotiating at executive level.
  • At least 8 years of relevant Sales experience.
  • Understanding of software licensing models, license agreements and contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel/Word/Power point).
  • Proficient in utilising various CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Siebel).
Good to have:
  • I.T. Knowledge.
  • Successful track record in a software sales role.
  • Previous experience in License compliance.

Position Overview

Autodesk, Inc., is a leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software. As a License Compliance Executive, you will work through License Compliance leads and opportunities to vet, drive and close out. You will work with sales teams, channel partners, legal, and other members of the License Compliance team on compliance matters. Your primary activity is discussing the (potential) compliance matter with customers, users and ensuring this leads to a commercial resolution.

You will drive a high level of customer compliance engagements – whether warning letters or audit activities, resolving compliance matters while retaining customers. You will also be responsible for meeting and forecasting quarterly and annual License Compliance sales goals within your territory. You will report to License Compliance Sales Manager and work in a Hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drives, develops, executes and monitors License Compliance Campaign strategy to meet and exceed revenue plan
  • Identify and capture sales opportunities with existing or new customers who have under-licensed software product. Assists customers in
  • Determining and purchasing correct levels of licenses
  • Drive compliance reconciliation purchases and use compliance as a compelling event in consolidation purchases. Develop a cross functional approach for reconciliation
  • Research and identify under-licensed accounts and work with sales team to develop a sales approach and strategy to reconcile customer accounts
  • Understand legal compliance framework and exercising high level judgment, develop a sales approach and strategy to reconcile customer accounts
  • Understand legal compliance framework and exercising high level judgment, develops and communicates both written and oral messages in selling and
  • Persuading customers to purchase software license and presenting liability problems if remain under licensed
  • May work with a third-party auditing firm to complete remote and on-site audits of customers; analyze results of audit to determine negotiating
  • Position; assist sales in closing enterprise compliance deals
  • Develops pipeline of enterprise compliance targets to meet revenue expectations
  • Structures and implements Enterprise Compliance programs by industry segments
  • Develops comprehensive enterprise compliance content for existing license compliance web site

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience and comfort with communicating and negotiating at executive level
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • I.T. Knowledge is an advantage
  • At least 8 years of relevant Sales experience
  • Successful track record in a software sales role is a plus
  • Ideally possesses previous experience in License compliance
  • Understanding of software licensing models, license agreements and contracts
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products (Excel/Word/Power point)
  • Proficient in utilising various CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce.com, Siebel, etc.)

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
