We’re seeking a sharp, motivated, and experienced Lifestyle Editor to help lead our daily lifestyle and entertainment content operation. Reporting to the Head of News and Lifestyle, this role plays a crucial part in setting the editorial tone each day—getting the lifestyle team off to a strong, creative start and driving fast, engaging, and impactful coverage. You’ll work closely with reporters to shape story ideas, manage trending topics, and ensure the highest editorial standards are met, while also contributing original writing.
For this role, you’ll need a strong blend of editorial leadership, creative instinct, and a deep understanding of what resonates with modern Australian lifestyle and entertainment audiences.
You should be confident shaping timely, engaging content across lifestyle verticals - while also having a sharp eye for emerging trends and the stories gaining momentum across social media, search, and the cultural conversation.
