The role requires maintaining inventory records and performing miscellaneous maintenance duties. The compensation is $30.00 - $35.00 hourly.

Job Details

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance PLC Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining PLC-driven equipment and other electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and a strong understanding of industrial automation. Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems.

  • Program, modify, and optimize PLC logic to improve machine performance.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical components, including sensors, motors, and control panels.

  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Maintain inventory records for critical spare parts and high-cost items.

  • Performs other miscellaneous maintenance duties as needed.

Compensation & Benefit Information: Hourly/Salary Pay Range:  $30.00 - $35.00 hourly. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by experience and other job-related factors. Bonus/Incentive Pay:  Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses.  A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided. Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years in industrial maintenance with PLC troubleshooting experience.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PLC programming, electrical systems, mechanical components, and automation.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex machinery issues efficiently.

  • Communication: Ability to relay technical information clearly across shifts.

  • Safety Awareness: Understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
