Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with at least 5 years of experience in the metal-mechanical, electrical, or related industries. The ideal candidate will have a completed technical career and a minimum of a high school education. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, executing and closing work orders in MAXIMO, following scheduled maintenance routines, undertaking improvement projects on machinery and Kaizen projects, and completing maintenance forms. The role also involves supporting various production areas as needed and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations. This position is based in Apodaca, NL, in a metal-mechanical company's industrial plant, requiring work in an indoor environment at ambient temperature and light conditions, with rotating shifts and weekend work. Safety is paramount, requiring the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety and hygiene standards, including LOTO, working at heights, and occasional confined spaces.
Must have:
  • Completed technical career in metal-mechanical, electrical, or related industries.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance.
  • Basic CNC knowledge.
  • Basic PLC knowledge.
  • Read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electronics, Electricity, Electrical control, Power, substations.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Office).
  • Proactive, improvement-oriented.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility for multiple functions.
  • Good communication.
  • Order and discipline in activity.
  • Service spirit.
Good to have:
  • High school education desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of Robots.
  • Basic knowledge of overhead cranes, hoists, and winches.
  • Knowledge of combustion furnaces, hydraulic presses, vacuum pumps, induction welders, blasting equipment, industrial washers, tippers, conveyors.

1. REQUERIMIENTOS GENERALES.

  • Técnico con carrera terminada en la industria metal  - mecánica, eléctrico o afín.
  • Escolaridad: Secundaria Terminada (Deseable preparatoria)
  • Experiencia mínima de 5 años en el departamento de mantenimiento.

2. REQUERIMIENTOS ESPECIALES.

  • Conocimientos de CNC básico
  • Conocimientos de PLC básico.
  • Lectura e interpretación de diagramas (hidráulicos, eléctricos, neumáticos)
  • Conocimientos de Hidráulica, Neumática, Electrónica, Electricidad, control eléctrico, Potencia, subestaciones.
  • Conocimientos intermedios de computación (Office).
  • Conocimiento de Robots básico
  • Conocimiento en grúas viajeras, banderas y polipasto (básico)
  • Conocimiento en horno de combustión, prensas hidráulicas, bombas de vacío, soldadora de inducción, equipos de blasteo, lavadoras industriales, volteadores, conveyor.

4. CONDICIONES DE TRABAJO

  • Base de la posición en planta de Apodaca N.L.
  • Empresa Rubro metal-mecánico
  • Trabajo en área interna en nave industrial a temperatura ambiente e iluminada
  • Trabajo en Turnos Rotativos y Fines de Semana

5. CONSIDERACIONES DE SEGURIDAD.

  • Uso del equipo de protección personal en planta.
  • Seguir las normas de Seguridad e Higiene y medioambiental establecidas en GEMSR, para los diferentes puntos de trabajo.
  • Área con alto tráfico de grúas
  • Área con alto tráfico de montacargas
  • Trabajos con LOTO, alturas y ocasionalmente espacios confinados.

6. PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILIDADES.

  • Ejecución de mantenimientos preventivos y correctivos programados.
  • Ejecución y cierre de órdenes de trabajo por sistema MAXIMO
  • Seguimiento a rutinas de Mantenimiento Programadas por los Ingenieros
  • Realizar proyectos de mejora en las maquinas
  • Realizar proyectos Kaizen
  • Llenado de formatos de mantenimiento.
  • Cumplir con todas las regulaciones del equipo de EHS.
  • Apoyo en las diferentes áreas productivas (dependiendo de las necesidades del departamento)

7. REQUERIMIENTOS DE ENTRENAMIENTO.

  • Curso de Soldadura
  • Curso de Manejo de Grúas
  • Curso de LOTO
  • Curso de Alturas y Plataformas
  • Curso de Espacios Confinados
