Zenith Analytics designs data strategies to link client marketing to business goals, optimizing campaigns and providing insights. A successful Manager leads Analysts and Senior Analysts, guiding them in day-to-day deliverables and story building. This role requires a passion for emerging tech, a data-driven approach, and at least four years of professional experience, including one year in a managerial capacity. Managers act as mentors, project managers, and thought leaders, driving value for clients through data-driven marketing.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of work experience in media or related field.
  • 1+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to both external and internal clients.
  • Help Analysts and Senior Analysts stay on track with deliverables and build stories.
  • Formulate and execute account vision with Analysts and Senior Analysts.
  • Mentor, manage, project manage, and be a thought leader.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with media team members and partners.
  • Provide world-class customer service.

  • Experience with third party research partners such as DISQO, Dynata, GfK, Nielsen, and Comscore.
  • Experience with ad verification tools such as DV, IAS, Moat, etc.
  • Experience with using or analyzing data from CDPs, DMPs, MMPs, and Search, Social, and DSP Platforms.
  • Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and other data manipulation languages.

Overview

What does Zenith Analytics do?

Working closely with both the Business Planning and Activation teams, Analytics designs the data strategy to tie our clients’ marketing to real-world business goals. We then mine that data to optimize campaigns and tell the stories that bring our clients closer to their marketing, helping them understand if they’re talking to the people they want, and if they’re doing it the right way.

What does a successful Manager look like?

We’re don’t all look the same, and we don’t expect you to, either. But successful members of our team generally have a passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, have a fresh perspective and share it in a positive way, don’t shy away from a challenge, and are always hungry to learn more.

We look for prior experience in media analytics, especially digital media. You should already be used to representing your team to external clients, since Managers are often the face of our Analytics team. We hope you’re a numbers whiz and know how to bring data to life through a compelling story. We’re also hoping you have at least a year’s worth of experience managing junior-level staff members and have at least four years of prior professional experience.

Responsibilities

What does an Analytics Manager do day-to-day?

Our Managers work very closely with the Analysts and Senior Analysts to help them stay on track with day-to-day deliverables, but also build great stories. Managers also work closely with their Directors and above to formulate a vision for their accounts, and then execute on that vision with their Analysts and Senior Analysts. As such, Managers are mentors, managers, project managers, and thought leaders, all at the same time.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of work experience in media or related field
  • 1+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Bachelor’s degree. Degree in a related field is a plus (i.e. STEM, Economics, Marketing, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to both external and internal clients.
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills
  • Experience with querying relational databases
  • Experience with digital media and analytics tools (Ad Servers, Measurement Vendors, BI Software)
  • Extensive experience with digital media marketing metrics
  • Strong understanding of traditional and digital advertising, strategy and measurement
  • Thought leadership on all aspects of digital advertising, digital media strategy and standard media measurement
  • Advanced Excel skills (ability to work with macros, advanced formulas, pivot tables) and experience working with large data sets.
  • Ability to structure and manipulate large data sets to answer business questions.
  • Understanding of a broad range of online advertising media channels such as Search, Display Banners, Email, Contextual, and Social, as well as subject matter expertise in at least one of these areas
  • Develop strong collaborative relationship with media team members and partners, earning credibility to drive results as a respected advisor.
  • Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations and their forecasted outcomes/implications.
  • Proven skills in analytical and strategic thinking, project management, presenting, and communication
  • Use statistical analyses to determine digital performance relative to benchmarks, testing results, and audience insights
  • World-class customer service skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with third party research partners such as DISQO, Dynata, GfK, Nielsen, and Comscore.

Compensation Range: $87,210.00- $ 113,500.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
