We are looking for a highly skilled individual who takes pride in bringing high-quality code quickly to market, enjoys learning and applying new technologies, and thrives in a dynamic engineering-oriented work environment.

You will be responsible for leading a team that manages workflows and systems for processing media. You will work with different encoding solutions and develop diverse solutions to interact and manage these systems, integrating them into our workflows using the latest technologies.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Work with a team of highly motivated engineers to effectively implement solutions and delivery production quality applications that are highly supportable and maintainable.
• Overall responsibility for design, code quality, and deployments
• Partner with internal and external teams to understand business and technical requirements and document technical specifications.
• Document technical solutions and articulate these solutions to both a business and technical audience. 

Qualifications & Experience...

• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer with a strong knowledge of Python or equivalent languages.
• 2+ years of experience of managing engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to interact with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel.
• Working knowledge of implementing scalable, distributed, and highly available systems on AWS.
• Hands-on experience in implementing microservices, RESTful APIs, and event driven architectures.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design and design patterns
• Drive to master emerging technologies and share experiences with team members.
• Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical experience

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $175,700.00 - $326,300.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
