BetterMe is seeking a Middle Manual QA Engineer with at least 2 years of Manual QA experience, including a minimum of 1 year specifically testing Android applications. The role involves manual testing of Android applications, creation and maintenance of test documentation, and active participation in the development process. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using Android Studio for log analysis, experienced with web debugging proxy applications like Charles, and possess a strong understanding of testing methodologies. Must have:
  • 2+ years of Manual QA experience
  • 1+ year testing Android applications

We are currently looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team.

What you'll need for this:

  • At least 2+ years of Manual QA experience;
  • A minimum of the last 1 year of experience testing Android applications;
  • Ability to use Android Studio (reading and analyzing logs);
  • Experience with web debugging proxy applications (Charles);
  • Good knowledge and understanding of testing methodologies and practices;
  • Expertise in analyzing software requirements;
  • Ability to set tasks independently and organize your own work effectively;
  • Result-oriented and attentive to details;
  • Quick grasp of new ideas and concepts;
  • Ability to articulate ideas in a language convenient for business and users.

It will be great if you have:

  • Experience testing legal compliance (e.g. GDPR);
  • Experience testing mobile subscriptions;
  • Knowledge and practical experience with back-end testing (using Postman, Swagger, REST);
  • Experience working with and analyzing data from analytics systems.

Your future tasks:

  • Manual testing of Android applications;
  • Creation and maintenance of current test documentation;
  • Active participation in the development process.
