Job Description

Ubisoft is looking for a Marketing Communications Apprentice in Düsseldorf starting September 1, 2025. You will learn to develop and manage communication concepts (online and offline), observe and analyze markets, and identify and target specific audiences. The apprenticeship includes rotations through various marketing departments, including Communications, Social Engagement, and Content Creator roles, to gain comprehensive experience in press work, community management, online projects, event organization, and influencer relations.

  • Support in creating press information and later create independently.
  • Support in organizing press events, trips, trade fairs, and daily press work.
  • Help manage online channels, lead online projects, and support event organization including Gamescom.
  • Learn to engage with influencers to promote games and leverage their reach.

What awaits you:

As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will learn how to develop and manage communication concepts (online and offline). You will be taught how to observe and analyze markets, identify target groups, and address them specifically. During your apprenticeship, you will rotate through several marketing departments to get to know the entire spectrum:

In the Communications department, you will support us in creating press information of all kinds and later create them independently. Furthermore, you will support us in organizing and preparing press events, press trips, and trade fairs, and of course, with all upcoming activities in daily press work.

In the Social Engagement area, you will get very close to the community. You will help us fill our various online channels with life and will be responsible for your own online projects. You will also support us in organizing and conducting events, including Gamescom.

In the Content Creator area, you will learn how we interact with influencers to get them excited about our games and leverage their wide-reaching communication for our brands.

Your Profile:

  • You have a good school leaving certificate (Höhere Handelsschule, Fachabitur or Abitur), want to reorient yourself after starting a university degree, or are a committed career changer who has already gained initial press or marketing experience.
  • Your German and English skills are very good.
  • You find it easy to approach people and express yourself confidently and flawlessly, both verbally and in writing.
  • You are an organizational talent and can react flexibly to new situations.
  • You are interested in using a PC and have good knowledge of common MS Office applications.
  • Interest in the computer and video game industry.
