We are looking for an experienced & passionate Marketing Director to join our team and help us deliver first-class marketing of Olympic Hospitality packages for Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games.
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Working into the SVP of Marketing you will drive and develop marketing strategies as part of our go-to-market process that establish and grow awareness, consideration & purchase of the Olympics Hospitality packages in Milan and you will work closely with our marketing teams in Europe & North America to develop strategies in support of the overall revenue goals.
Working with cross-functional groups (including the marketing team, event operations, sales, PR, creative, ticketing software providers, legal & finance) to create and deliver successful marketing strategies.
Marketing Campaign Development & Delivery
Managing the marketing team in Milan and as the day-to-day link between the Organising Committee (Milano Cortina 2026) on the ground and our global marketing teams you will guide & oversee the day-to-day delivery of all aspects of the marketing strategies & plans - not limited to, but including:
Ticket modelling, revenue forecasting, and ongoing sales reporting.
Creative asset and content development required before, during and on-site at the events.
Liaise with Comms and PR teams to drive and deliver PR narratives and positive coverage in line with agreed upon objectives.
Liaise with other internal business units to ensure alignment and efficiency across all departments.
Oversee performance monitoring, optimization and reporting of all marketing activity, and action adjustments where necessary to ensure optimization for maximum performance, reach, and return on investment.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure key stakeholder, sponsor and partner marketing requirements are fulfilled in line with the IOC and MC26 objectives and commitments and be the voice of both the B2B and B2C consumer in conversations with stakeholders and strategic partners.
Oversee the delivery of robust marketing campaign and performance reports, updates and recommendations throughout the lifecycle of the campaigns.
Financial Management
Sole responsibility of the overall global marketing budget for MC26 Hospitality, forecasting and reconciliation
Oversee and ensure impeccable financial management and optimisation of the marketing budgets to deliver positive ROAS and meet agreed revenue targets.
Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with MC26, the IOC, NOCs and partners.
Attend multiple stakeholder meetings, developing strategic presentations and proposals where required.
Ensure your team assist with stakeholder account management and digital servicing of partners.
Liaise with partners and suppliers as required.
Team Management
Guide, mentor, manage and lead a small team of marketers on-the-ground in Milan

You Have These:
A proven track record of developing & delivering successful B2B & B2C marketing strategies and campaigns through-the-line for live events that drive ticket sales (or revenue) with a deep understanding of Italian and European consumers and market.
Experience marketing to high & ultra-high net worth consumers is desirable.
A deep understanding and respect for consumer-first strategy, creative and performance marketing.
A keen understanding of and passion live sports.
Proven experience reporting on the effectiveness of a 360-event marketing campaign.
End-to-end event marketing budget and financial management experience.
Working experience of developing marketing campaigns that are delivered in multiple markets around the word; able to demonstrate keen understanding of a global consumer and localisation tactics within the wider strategy.
A track record of delivering marketing strategies, campaigns, and activations that help deliver significant revenue
Spoken and written Italian & English fluency is required.

Travel:
You may be required to travel to offices in other locations, to the Olympics games events in various locations and work on-site if necessary.
