This role is a key driver for Haleon's Oral Health Care (OHC) brand in the CEE Business Unit, reporting to the CEE BU OHC Category Director. The Marketing Manager will lead commercial activities, deliver market shares, sales, and profit for the brand, and develop successful strategies based on global and local insights. Responsibilities include P&L ownership, driving OHC brand leadership, analyzing business performance, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective execution and competitive advantage.
Must have:
  • Ownership of the Category P&Ls, responsible for achieving defined financial targets
  • Delivers plans to drive OHC brand leadership across CEE
  • Develop successful strategy for respective OHC brand driving growth and winning performance in the market
  • Inspire the most effective execution across CEE markets for respective OHC brand
  • Analyze business performance of the OHC brand in CEE proactively managing and mitigating any course correction required
  • Acts as key partner for CBIA and local teams, driving in-depth consumer/shopper and expert understanding for the brand
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders with executive presence and appropriate sense of urgency
  • Drive relationships with global Category Teams
  • Set up Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and track business performance
  • Fluent English
  • Marketing/ business degree or equivalent
  • Strong marketing (10 years+) experience with leading FMCG brands within multinational FMCG companies
  • Experience in developing brand strategies & activation plans inclusive of media management
  • Experience in managing trade execution of brand under holistic strategy
  • Understanding of commercial levers
  • Operationally and strategically experienced in Digital Marketing (SEA, SEO, Display, Video, Social, eComm)
  • Proven track-record in P&L delivery, demonstrating financial and commercial acumen
  • High level of agility in how to deal with different market environment and different competitive landscapes
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of developing insights as well as analyzing & understanding consumer, shopper, and customer trends
  • Proven ability to lead and manage stakeholders in a complex matrix environment
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate and interact effectively within the organisation
  • Strong leadership & collaboration skills
  • Experience and demonstrated success in driving organizational change initiatives

About the Role

This fantastic opportunity is embedded in CEE Business Unit Marketing team within Oral Health Care(OHC) Category and reporting to CEE BU Oral Health Care Category Director.

The role serves as a key driver for Haleon's key OHC brand overall commercial activities in CEE BU and is working closely with BU teams and local marketing/ comex/ sales teams to bring the respective brand strategy to life. You will deliver market shares, sales and profit for the respective brand in line with area brand prioritization.

In this role you will get an opportunity to be involved in partnership and collaboration with number of stakeholders: local markets and CEE Leadership Team, Regional Team, Global Marketing (Category Growth Team) as well as other stakeholders across the various functions of Haleon, according to the new Marketing Operating Model. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, an independent, self-starting work ethic, high attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize while juggling multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the Category P&Ls, responsible for achieving defined financial targets (measure net revenue, gross profit, brand profit and percentage change)
  • Delivers plans to drive OHC brand leadership across CEE
  • Develop successful strategy for respective OHC brand driving growth and winning performance in the market, based on global strategy, where relevant and build on successful cases across the world to accelerate CEE growth. Where needed develop CEE/ Local market relevant and successful strategy. Close collaboration with global and local marketing teams required
  • Inspire the most effective execution across CEE markets for respective OHC brand in close co-operation with local teams and BU Expert, Innovation, Digital and Media teams
  • Analyze business performance of the OHC brand in CEE proactively managing and mitigating any course correction required
  • Acts as key partner for CBIA and local teams. Drives in depth consumer/ shopper and expert understanding for the brand. Defines insights that drive brand competitive advantage.
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders (agencies, key opinion leaders, international teams, BU leadership team and local marketing and commercial teams etc.) with executive presence and appropriate sense of urgency
  • Drive relationships with global Category Teams
  • Set up Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and track business performance

Basic Qualifications:

  • Fluent English
  • Marketing/ business degree or equivalent
  • Strong marketing (10 years+) experience with leading FMCG brands within multinational FMCG companies and experience in developing brand strategies & activation plans inclusive of media management

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of developing insights as well as analyzing & understanding consumer, shopper, and customer trends to form the strategy & activation plans
  • Proven ability to lead and manage stakeholders in a complex matrix environment
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate and interact effectively within the organisation
  • Strong leadership & collaboration skills; motivating within a multi-country marketing team and moderating conflicts cross-functional and cross-country
  • Experience and demonstrated success in driving organizational change initiatives required
