This role is about making an impact on the world by putting People First and expanding possibilities. As a Master Scheduler, you will collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Materials, and Sales and Ops Planning teams, as well as Material Controllers and Plant Management. Your strategic alignment of production schedules with inventory and material availability will directly impact meeting customer demands, minimizing downtime, and increasing revenue. You will ensure inventory accuracy, lead time compliance, and efficient order scheduling, while identifying capacity constraints and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your planning and coordination will be essential in maintaining flow from raw materials to finished goods, driving operational efficiency and cost control.

  • Develop and maintain Master Production Schedules used in materials requirements planning
  • Coordinate scheduled demand items for SIOP reviews
  • Work closely with operations to support material flow and eliminate production bottlenecks
  • Lead weekly MPS (Master Production Scheduling) meetings; document and follow up on action items
  • Ensure BOM (Bill of Materials) and inventory accuracy
  • Perform Cycle counts and inventory control
  • Analyze data related to capacity inventory, and scheduling trends
  • Comply with all safety and quality procedures
  • Work with the materials manager to identify and implement improvements in scheduling, inventory management and material flow
  • Support technical updates to systems and processes related to production and inventory tracking
  • Strategically plan and create forecast for outgoing orders
  • Work with the customer service team to define delivery dates and follow up to ensure on-time delivery

Who will you be working with?

As a Master Scheduler, you will collaborate closely with Operations, Purchasing, Materials, and Sales and Ops Planning teams. You will also work with Material Controllers, and Plant Management to partner in production planning, supply chain, inventory and manufacturing departments.

Required Qualifications

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in data analysis, data science, supply chain, operations or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in data analysis in a manufacturing environment or materials/inventory department.
  • Experience with MRP systems and inventory control
  • Proven work experience in a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing companies.
  • Familiarity with SIOP process and BOM accuracy
  • Experience managing material and customer order flow is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in ERP systems (Oracle, Sequel, Power BI, Access or similar)
  • Advance Microsoft Office excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to operate computer systems for data entry and analysis
  • Understanding of manufacturing and production lead times.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and troubleshoot scheduling issues

What will your typical day look like?

  • Must be able to visually review schedules, inventory data, production outputs on screen and paper.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $75K -80K

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
