Job Description

The Mechanical Project Engineer at Disneyland Paris will be responsible for improving the reliability and safety of mechanical equipment on park attractions. Responsibilities include handling technical modification requests, developing maintenance and rehabilitation plans, proposing modernization strategies, defining and implementing corrective actions, assessing and mitigating risks, creating technical documentation (specifications, calculations), collaborating with designers, sharing best practices with other Disney parks, and ensuring up-to-date technical documentation. This role requires strong mechanical engineering skills, experience with high-volume manufacturing, hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge (a plus), proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks), and excellent problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Must have:
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree (Bac+5)
  • 3+ years experience in mechanical design
  • CAD proficiency (Solidworks)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Project management experience
  • Fluency in English (B2)
Good to have:
  • Hydraulics/Pneumatics knowledge

Job Description:

Tous les jours, notre département Maintenance relève des challenges techniques passionnants. Un seul but : assurer le bon fonctionnement de toutes les activités/attractions/bâtiments du parc et ainsi permettre à nos visiteurs de s’amuser tout au long de l’année, en toute sécurité.

 

Au sein d’une équipe d’ingénieurs mécaniciens et sous la responsabilité du Manager Ingénierie, vous délivrez des préconisations ou des études afin de corriger et de fiabiliser de façon continue les équipements mécaniques des attractions dont la voie et les véhicules dans les domaines de la sécurité, fiabilité, maintenabilité et performance opérationnelle.

Vous jouez ainsi un rôle clé pour satisfaire nos visiteurs et perpétuer la magie Disney et ce, en respectant les cinq clés : Sécurité, Courtoisie, Inclusion, Spectacle et Efficacité. 

Vos Missions ?

  • Traiter une demande de modification technique de sa création à la généralisation sur attraction dans le respect des délais,
  • Mettre en place des plans de maintenance, de réhabilitations et d’obsolescence des équipements, Être force de proposition dans le but de pérenniser et moderniser les installations,
  • Définir des conditions palliatives et suivre les plans d’actions à mettre en œuvre sur les équipements mécaniques des attractions (dont systèmes voies, véhicules),
  • Apprécier, anticiper les risques et mettre en place immédiatement toutes les mesures pour réduire l’impact d’un arrêt dans le respect des règles de sécurité des personnes et des biens
  • Etablir la documentation technique associée à un a changement de design(cahier des charges, justification, note de calcul)
  • Délivrer à chaque fois que nécessaire, des rapports de situation immédiats aux clients ou à la hiérarchie.
  • Respecter les process mis en place au sein du département,
  • Réalisation des études en collaboration avec un projeteur,
  • Partager les éléments techniques et les bonnes pratiques avec les autres parcs du monde,
  • S'assurer de la mise à jour de la documentation technique des équipements et attractions sous sa responsabilité et dans son périmètre d’activité.


Votre profil ?

  • Diplôme d'Ingénieur/Bac +5 en Génie Mécanique
  • Idéalement 3 ans d'expérience minimum en conception mécanique, dans une industrie en flux tendus de type automobile, et multi-composants (roulements, vérins…) et en gestion de projet
  • Des compétences en hydraulique et/ou pneumatique seraient un plus.
  • Compétences en C.A.O. (Solidworks)
  • Capacité à trouver des solutions innovantes à des problématiques originales ou peu communes.
  • Bon relationnel, curiosité, ouverture à l’innovation.
  • Anglais requis niveau B2
  • Maitrise de la suite Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
