This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, as well as a deep understanding of media planning, buying, and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
  • Developing and executing comprehensive media strategies, setting media objectives, and ensuring strategic alignment across all campaign elements.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Managing a team of media planners and buyers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Client Management:
  • Serving as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, and presenting media plans and performance results.
  • Performance Analysis:
  • Partner with Analytics in monitoring and analyzing media campaign performance, identifying areas for optimization, and providing actionable insights.
  • Budget Management:
  • Managing media budgets, tracking spend, and ensuring campaigns are delivered within financial parameters.
  • Collaboration:
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including account service, creative, analytics, and other departments.
  • Innovation & Trends:
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and emerging media platforms, and providing thought leadership on media strategy.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, coach, and manage a small team of media professionals.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and media vendors.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Deep Understanding of Media Planning & Buying: Expertise in media planning, buying, and performance tracking across various platforms.
  • Proficiency in Media Planning Tools: Familiarity with industry-standard media planning and buying tools.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of digital marketing principles and platforms.
  • Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • 5+ years of Media Planning experience required Proficient on all media computer applications: IMS, Vivvix, Word, Excel, Prisma, MediaOcean, MediaTools ComScore and Keynote
  • Ability to work well with a team, function as a leader, and also work independently
  • Ability to understand client objectives and how they translate into media strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in formal and informal client presentations
  • Creative problem-solving ability
  • Ability to manage multiple people at various experience levels
  • Proactive thinker who can move the business forward
  • Accountable and strong attention to detail
  • Responsive and timely in completing requests
  • College degree in related field
