Must Have
- MS + 8 years or PhD + 5 years in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of CMOS mixed-signal design and simulation tools.
- Strong programming skills (Python, C++, MATLAB) with AI/ML framework experience.
- Experience in AI-driven optimization techniques for EDA workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional team skills.
Good to Have
- Knowledge and experience in reinforcement learning, neural networks, or generative AI.
- Experience with EDA tool development, algorithm optimization, or CAD automation.

We are seeking a highly skilled Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to pioneer the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools. This role is at the forefront of innovation, leveraging AI to optimize circuit design, enhance verification processes, and accelerate development cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Take a technical leadership role in collaborating with internal design experts and EDA vendors to determine the trade-offs in licensing vs partnering vs internal development of EDA tools.
- Apply machine learning algorithms to improve design speed, accuracy, and performance of advanced mixed-signal designs.
- Develop scalable methodologies to improve the productivity of analog and mixed-signal designers.
- MS + 8 years of experience or PhD + 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of CMOS mixed-signal design and circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, Cadence tools, Synopsys tools).
- Strong programming skills (Python, C++, MATLAB) with experience in AI/ML frameworks.
- Experience in AI-driven optimization techniques applied to EDA workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
- Comfort with the ambiguity and innovation required in a still developing and rapidly changing field.
- Knowledge and experience in reinforcement learning, neural networks, or generative AI models for CMOS mixed-signal circuit design.
- Knowledge and experience with EDA tool development, algorithm optimization, or CAD automation.
