Mobile App Designer

Plan A Technologies is seeking an experienced Mobile App Designer for a 3-month contract to design a new mobile application. The role involves collaborating with product and development teams to create seamless, brand-consistent UI/UX for iOS and Android, focusing on wireframes, prototypes, and mockups. Candidates need 6+ years in UI/UX design, strong B2C mobile app experience, and proficiency in tools like Figma, Miro, and FigJam, ensuring technical feasibility and adherence to design guidelines and accessibility standards.

Must Have

• Collaborate with product managers and developers on UI/UX solutions.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups.
• Ensure technical feasibility of designs across platforms.
• Maintain and evolve design systems and style guides.
• Translate complex business requirements into functional UIs.
• Ensure brand consistency and bidirectional design compatibility.
• Apply accessibility standards (WCAG) and mobile-first principles.
• 6+ years of experience in UX/UI design, B2C mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio with 1–2 large-scale mobile app projects.
• Proficiency in Figma, Miro, FigJam, and prototyping tools.
• Understanding of iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design (MUI3).
• Experience designing for responsive and mobile-first environments.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Fluency in English and understanding of bidirectional design.

• Apply accessibility standards (WCAG) and mobile-first design principles.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Work independently while aligning with the client’s brand foundations.

EXPERIENCE

• 6+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on B2C mobile applications.
• Proven track record of solving complex business problems through design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing 1–2 large-scale mobile app projects.
• Proficiency in Figma, Miro, FigJam, and prototyping tools.
• Solid understanding of iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design (MUI3).
• Experience designing for responsive and mobile-first environments.
