Mobile App Designer

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a seasoned Mobile App Designer to join our team on a 3-month contract to help design a new mobile application. The designer will collaborate closely with product managers and development teams to create a seamless, brand-consistent experience across iOS and Android platforms.

Please note: you must have at least 6+ years of experience as UI/UX Designer to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative UI/UX solutions.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups that clearly illustrate how products function and look.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs across platforms.
• Maintain and evolve design systems and style guides.
• Translate complex business requirements into simple, elegant, and functional user interfaces.
• Ensure brand consistency and bidirectional design compatibility (LTR/RTL).
• Apply accessibility standards (WCAG) and mobile-first design principles.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Work independently while aligning with the client’s brand foundations.

EXPERIENCE

• 6+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on B2C mobile applications.
• Proven track record of solving complex business problems through design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing 1–2 large-scale mobile app projects.
• Proficiency in Figma, Miro, FigJam, and prototyping tools.
• Solid understanding of iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design (MUI3).
• Experience designing for responsive and mobile-first environments.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Fluency in English and understanding of bidirectional design (LTR/RTL).
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• A creative thinker with a deep appreciation for luxury and guest experience.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to the fast-paced changing needs of the
• Attention to detail and ability to balance usability with aesthetics.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
