Job Description

• Coordinate the technical and administrative activities of the laboratory.
• Manage new testing techniques.
• Ensure compliance with the technical, operational, and quality activities of the Laboratory.
• Verify the calibration status and operability of the equipment inherent to their work and glassware.
• Verify routine quality controls performed in areas inherent to their work.
• Directly support shift supervisors and/or laboratory coordinators for the proper management of the operational circuit in the laboratory.

Requirements

• University/technical professional, bachelor's degree or graduate in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, mineral processing, and/or related careers.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in fire assay analysis, carbon and sulfur determination, and/or mineral processing, especially gold-bearing minerals.
• Proven experience in bullion analysis.
• Intermediate level knowledge of office automation.
