Netsuite Analyst

The Netsuite Analyst will collaborate with the Accounting and Finance team to identify, prioritize, and implement system improvements within NetSuite financial and Zip procurement systems. This role involves daily end-user support, administrative duties like user administration, reporting, UI updates, and system maintenance. The analyst will gather requirements, implement process improvements, and ensure efficient integration of NetSuite with other systems, focusing on streamlining P2P processes and enhancing financial workflows.

Must Have

• Provide front-line support and maintenance of NetSuite and Zip Procurement software.
• Partner with the Accounting team to analyze P2P business processes and optimize performance.
• Perform system administration duties including managing users, security, updates, and bi-annual releases.
• Work with development on interfaces, integration projects, enhancement requests, and bug fixes.
• Perform functional configuration and enhancements (custom fields, forms, records, workflows, reporting, user roles).
• Optimize ‘out of box’ functionality within NetSuite.
• Create saved searches, reports, and dashboards in NetSuite for end-users, utilizing NetSuite Analytics for complex requests.
• Manage support escalations to NetSuite support or 3rd party and internal developers.
• Create and maintain documentation for NetSuite and business processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with NetSuite ERP.
• Strong functional knowledge of NetSuite Financials.
• Experience using Netsuite Analytics for report writing.
• Basic understanding of accounting processes (Procure to Pay and Record to Report).

The Netsuite Analyst collaborates with the Accounting and Finance team to identify, prioritize and implement system improvements while also performing daily end-user support and administrative duties within our NetSuite financial system and Zip procurement system including user administration, reporting writing, UI updates and system maintenance. This role will collaborate with various departments to gather requirements, implement process improvements, and ensure efficient integration of NetSuite with other systems. You will play a critical role in streamlining operations, enhancing financial workflows, and supporting the company’s overall objectives. The focus of this role will be on the P2P process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide front-line support and maintenance of various financial applications for internal use, especially NetSuite and Zip Procurement software
• Partner with the Accounting team to analyze P2P business processes and suggest new ways to use NetSuite, Zip and other financial systems to optimize and improve performance
• Perform system administration duties including managing users, security, updates and bi-annual releases
• Work with the development organization on interfaces and integration projects, enhancement requests and bug fixes
• Perform functional configuration and enhancements, including custom fields, forms, records, workflows, reporting, and user roles to support business requirements
• Optimize ‘out of box’ functionality within NetSuite
• Create saved searches, reports and dashboards in NetSuite for end-users, meeting any specific reporting requirement. Use Netsuite Analytics for more complex report requests.
• Manage support escalations to NetSuite support or 3rd party and internal developers as needed
• Create and maintain documentation for NetSuite and business processes, including requirements, designs, and user manuals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience working with NetSuite ERP
• Boomi, Salesforce and Zip experience is a plus
• Strong functional knowledge of NetSuite Financials
• Experience using Netsuite Analytics for report writing
• Basic understanding of accounting processes (Procure to Pay and Record to Report)
