This key client-facing role will concentrate on sales activities related to QA testing and localization services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the game industry, a proven track record in B2B sales, and a commitment to building long-term, trusting relationships.
Must have:
  • Research new client candidates in the game industry, identify needs, and propose solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote QA testing and localization services.
  • Support the entire sales process from inquiry to contract.
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with game developers and publishers.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the company.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery, marketing, and management teams for smooth implementation and launch.
  • Manage sales activities using CRM tools and share progress/results with the team.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor movements to improve proposals.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of new businesses. This is a crucial client-facing role, primarily responsible for developing new partnerships with game companies and publishers. The focus will be on sales activities related to QA testing and localization services. We welcome candidates with a deep understanding of the game industry, a proven track record in B2B sales, and a commitment to building long-term, trusting relationships.

Position within the Organization

This position belongs to the New Business Sales Team within the Sales Division and reports directly to the Director of Partnerships.

Specific Job Duties

  • Research new client candidates in the game industry, identify needs, and propose solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote our QA testing and localization services.
  • Consistently support the entire sales process, from inquiry to contract.
  • Build trusting and long-lasting relationships with game development companies and publishers.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to widely communicate our company's appeal.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams, marketing, and management to support smooth implementation and launch.
  • Manage sales activities using CRM tools and share progress and results with the team.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor movements to leverage for better proposals.

Application Requirements and Desired Skills

  • Experience in corporate sales and business development in the game or technology industry (especially welcome in the outsourcing domain).
  • Sales experience in services such as QA and localization, with a proven track record of results.
  • A network within the game industry is highly welcome.
  • Ability to communicate and present confidently in client proposals and negotiations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently, and adapt flexibly.
  • Knowledge of game development flow, localization, and QA would be beneficial.
  • Business trips may occur for events or client meetings (as needed).
  • Native-level Japanese is required. English reading and writing skills are sufficient (for email correspondence, etc.). Participation in English meetings is welcome but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work flexibly with some time adjustments to handle communication with overseas parties with time differences.
