NMS SON engineer

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an NMS SON engineer to join their global team in Chennai. This role involves working on NetAct build and deployment, including installation and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have experience with networking, virtualization, cloud technologies, and Linux platforms, particularly RedHat. Key responsibilities include deploying software applications like NetAct, Charging System, and OSS on BareMetal, VMware, or OpenStack Cloud environments, along with storage knowledge and shell scripting skills.

Must Have

• Working experience on NetAct Build and deployment – installation & Upgrade
• Knowledge in Networking, Virtualisation, Cloud technologies
• Hands on Linux platform preferably RedHat Linux
• OpenStack experience like RHOSP, Nokia CBIS
• Installation/Upgrade of software applications like NetAct, Charging System, OSS
• VMware vSphere ESXi and vCenter knowledge
• Deployment experience on BareMetal, VMware/OpenStack Cloud
• Storage knowledge like NAS, SAN
• Experience in shell scripting

Good to Have

• RHCSA/RHEL certification
