This NOC Engineer role involves continuous system health and performance monitoring, acting as the first line of defense for infrastructure issues, and collaborating with DevOps, QA, Development, and Release teams. The position also includes deploying software patches and releases, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and proactively minimizing downtime. Strong communication and incident documentation are essential for this role.
Must have:
  • Monitor system health and performance using PagerDuty, InfluxDB, and Graylog.
  • Respond promptly to alerts to ensure maximum uptime and service reliability.

  • Collaborate with DevOps to identify root causes and address infrastructure gaps.
  • Work with QA, Development, and Release teams for seamless deployments.
  • Support cross-functional coordination for daily builds and production pushes.
  • Deploy patches, hotfixes, and major software releases using Jenkins.
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for scalable, stable environments.
  • Proactively monitor system performance to minimize service disruptions.
  • Ensure clear, timely communication across engineering, operations, and support.

1. Performance Monitoring

  • Continuously monitor system health and performance using tools such as PagerDuty, InfluxDB, and Graylog.
  • Respond promptly to alerts to ensure maximum uptime and service reliability for clients and partners.

2. First Line of Defence

  • Act as the first point of contact for real-time troubleshooting of infrastructure and system issues.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to identify root causes and address infrastructure-level gaps.

3. Collaboration

  • Work closely with QA, Development, and Release teams to ensure seamless deployments and system updates.
  • Support cross-functional coordination for daily builds and production pushes.

4. Software Deployment

  • Deploy patches, hotfixes, and major software releases using tools like Jenkins.
  • Maintain and enhance continuous integration (CI) and deployment (CD) pipelines to support scalable, stable environments.
  • Leverage tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices to improve deployment speed and reliability.

5. Downtime Minimization

  • Proactively monitor system performance and take corrective action to minimize or avoid service disruptions.
  • Support high-availability strategies and ensure operational continuity.

6. Communication Management

  • Ensure clear, timely communication across engineering, operations, and support teams.
  • Document incident details and resolution steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.

7. Proactive Monitoring & Issue Resolution

  • Conduct deep-dive monitoring and root cause analysis for recurring incidents.
  • Ensure high system performance and support business SLAs.

Technical Skills & Requirements

  • Basic to intermediate Linux skills for server-level troubleshooting.
  • Experienced Required: 2-4 Years ; Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP (beyond basic compute services).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools (InfluxDB, Graylog, PagerDuty).
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, and continuous deployment/integration practices.
  • Understanding of Python for basic scripting and automation tasks.
  • Working knowledge of Agile environments and release practices.
