Job Description

The Net Revenue Management (NRM) Director for EMEA & LATAM is responsible for enhancing commercial effectiveness across the region, which is Haleon's largest with over £4.5 billion in net sales. This role leads a team and influences BU ComEx Heads to maximize value from commercial initiatives through improved execution efficiency and optimized growth spending. Key components include guiding BUs to improve performance and execution quality, scaling learnings and successes across the region, and developing the strategic roadmap for NRM including processes, capabilities, and tools to maintain a competitive edge. The role focuses on NRM strategy to boost Average Net Selling Price (ANSP) and Gross Margin, NRM execution by embedding strategies and ensuring teams have the right processes and tools, capability building for operationalizing NRM strategies, and customer management with guidelines for investment and pricing.

About the Role

The Net Revenue Management (NRM) Director for EMEA & LATAM is responsible for improving commercial effectiveness in the region. EMEA & LATAM is the largest region at Haleon with over £4.5 billion net sales, with full portfolio across Oral Health, Pain Relief, Respiratory and VMS (Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements). The region is composed of seven Business Units (BUs) – Northern Europe, Southern Europe, DACH (Germany, Switzerland, Austria), Central Eastern Europe, Russia, MEA and LatAm. With the diversified geographic footprint across developed and emerging markets, the EMEA and LatAm region drives major contribution to the growth and profit of Haleon. More than half of region’s incremental sales is delivered through Net Revenue Management (NRM), making it a key growth driver for the region.

The NRM Director will report into the Head of Commercial Excellence (ComEx) EMEA & LATAM who reports into the Regional President, EMEA & LATAM (Haleon Executive Team). Leading a small high calibre team, the role extends his/her leadership to a wider team, in particular, the BU ComEx Heads, ensuring the BUs are extracting most value from their commercial initiatives by improving execution efficiency and optimizing spends behind growth driving initiatives.
 

There will be three key components of the role:

  • Performance: Guiding BUs and key markets to improve execution quality and depth. Help improve commercial rigour to accelerate Haleon’s performance.

  • Scale: Ensuring learnings and successes are scaled at pace across the region.

  • Strategy & Future-Proofing: Creating the strategic roadmap for NRM including process, capability, and tools to ensure we stay ahead of our Consumer Healthcare competitors and in line with other CPGs.

Key Responsibilities

This role will play a key part in setting and executing Net Revenue Management strategies across the region, so will be broad and varied. Some key areas of focus for the successful candidate will be:

NRM Strategy: Help Business Units crystallise a long term NRM strategy to accelerate ANSP and Gross Margin. Guide thinking across all 5 NRM pillars – Pricing, Price Pack Architecture, Mix, Promotion Management, and Trade investment to ensure action plans are connected and driving incremental value and market share impact.

NRM Execution: Embed and scale NRM strategy into BU’s execution excellence ensuring in-market teams have the right process, tools and capability. Reduce price exposure utilizing the target price framework. Ensure BUs deliver on Gross to Net (G2N) and ANSP in line with plan. Build the strategy for NRM automation agenda with NRM performance hub.

Capability and Processes: Help markets operationalize the NRM strategy by building capability and processes and ensuring in-store actions are linked to business strategy. Help develop, deploy and embed analytics tools to accelerate growth.

Customer Management: Provide guidelines and structure on customer investment and pricing. Set the strategy and governance framework for pan European pricing and international customer investment. Ensure that customer segmentation is reflected in pricing and growth plans.

Qualifications and skills

  • Significant cross-functional experience encompassing sales and commercial roles.

  • Experience in multiple markets and channels is required, with experience in pharmacy a preference.

  • Commercial acumen, full P&L understanding.

  • Leading through influence, with clear communication and ability to create business propositions.

  • Strong technical skills in net revenue management, sales management, and category development.
