Job Summary

Job Description

As a member of the EHS team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of factory workers, reporting to the EHS Supervisor, following procedures and processes already established by Wabtec's global leadership. Your day-to-day will involve participating in the implementation of health and safety policies, monitoring shift activities, conducting audits, completing documentation, identifying control variables for diseases and accidents, developing training, participating in inspections, and supporting CIPA and SESMT.
Must have:
  • Graduated in Occupational Safety Technician with active registration with the Ministry of Labor
  • Experience in the Metallurgical Industrial area
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Driver's License B
  • Participate in the implementation of health and safety policy at work, monitoring shift activities
  • Conduct audits, complete and evaluate area documentation, identify control variables for diseases, accidents, quality of life and environment
  • Develop training in the area of health and safety at work, participate in expert appraisals and inspections and integrate negotiation processes
  • Participate in the adoption of technologies and work processes
  • Perform monthly deliveries of programs: PULSAR, 7S, among others
  • Assist with Environmental and Sustainability demands
  • Comply with safety legislation, assisting in supporting CIPA and SESMT

What do we want to know about you? Requirements
