Official Merchandise Development Manager

This role involves the planning, development, and production of official merchandise utilizing Square Enix's game Intellectual Properties (IP). The responsibilities include overseeing the entire lifecycle of merchandise, from planning and production to production management and release, coordinating with various stakeholders. Specific tasks include proposing product ideas, defining specifications, developing business plans for assigned areas, coordinating and supervising internal and external parties, handling quotes and negotiations with external manufacturers, managing schedules, quality checking product samples, creating necessary documentation, and coordinating with sales, advertising, and international teams. The position offers the opportunity to work directly with game development creators and has a wide range of product categories, fostering innovation and global expansion.
