Job Description
The Online Engineer develops game servers and game clients for various services that support games. This includes developing and operating game servers on cloud platforms, developing game clients to communicate with game servers, developing and operating various web systems such as official websites, and developing features necessary for online battles with other players. The Online Engineer is responsible for developing systems that allow multiple PlayStation®, mobile devices, and PCs to communicate with each other over the network. To provide an excellent user experience, the work ranges from architecture design and development of programs using low-level socket APIs to the development of the user interface that the user actually operates.

オンラインエンジニアは、ゲームを支える各種サービスのゲームサーバー、ゲームクライアントの開発を行います。
・クラウドプラットフォーム上で動作するゲームサーバーの開発、運用
・ゲームサーバーと通信を行うためのゲームクライアントの開発
・公式ウェブサイト等の各種 Web システムの開発、運用
・ネットワーク上でほかのプレイヤーと対戦するために必要な機能の開発
・サーバー運用ツールの開発
オンラインエンジニアは、複数台の PlayStation®、モバイルデバイス、PC 間でネットワークを通じて相互に通信するシステムの開発を担当します。
優れたユーザー体験を実現するために、アーキテクチャーの設計や低レベルなソケット API を使用するプログラムの開発からユーザーが実際に操作する UI の開発までを一貫して行います。
