The Online Engineer develops game servers and game clients for various services that support games. This includes developing and operating game servers on cloud platforms, developing game clients to communicate with game servers, developing and operating various web systems such as official websites, and developing features necessary for online battles with other players. The Online Engineer is responsible for developing systems that allow multiple PlayStation®, mobile devices, and PCs to communicate with each other over the network. To provide an excellent user experience, the work ranges from architecture design and development of programs using low-level socket APIs to the development of the user interface that the user actually operates.
