We're seeking an experienced Onsite Sales Manager with 10+ years of proven sales success in Custom Software Development, skilled in building relationships, closing deals, and managing complex RFPs. Travel is required across the US and Canada.
We seek an experienced and dynamic On-Site Sales Manager with at least 10 years of
sales experience in the Custom Software Development industry. The ideal candidate will
have a proven track record of building strong client relationships, closing high-value deals,
and effectively navigating complex sales cycles. This role requires a professional who is
comfortable traveling to various locations across the US and Canada to meet with clients,
present proposals, and negotiate contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key
stakeholders at client organizations, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs
and challenges.
- Sales Leadership: Drive the entire sales cycle from initial client engagement
through to deal closure, with a focus on custom software development services.
- RFP Management: Lead the response to Request for Proposals (RFPs), leveraging a
minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and winning complex RFP deals.
- Technical Understanding: Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders, showcasing a deep understanding of various tech stacks
and their applications in solving client challenges.
- Travel: Regularly travel to various locations across the US and Canada to meet with
clients, present proposals, and negotiate contracts, ensuring a personal and
professional approach to closing deals.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and
emerging technologies to effectively position our custom software development
services.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and deal
progress to senior management.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the Custom Software
Development industry, with at least 5 years of experience handling RFP deals.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability in building relationships and closing deals,
with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of various tech stacks, with the ability
to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the US and
Canada as needed to meet with clients and close deals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with
the ability to present complex solutions clearly and compellingly.
