Job Description

An Operational Performance Engineer will be responsible for extracting, analysing, and reporting on data related to Colleague Services operations. This role involves identifying important service metrics and providing insights/dashboard to improve service performance. The Reporting Analyst will work closely with partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Key responsibilities include extracting data for measuring Key Service Metrics, developing dashboards for performance reporting, collaborating with technical teams, identifying and reporting bugs, monitoring metrics, and fulfilling ad-hoc data requests. The engineer will be working on projects within the financial markets infrastructure and data provider sector.
Must have:
  • 4-5 years of experience in data extraction and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Power-BI and other reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Superb communication and presentation skills.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Professional certifications in business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools.

Role Description:

Overview: An Operational Performance Engineer will be responsible for extracting, analysing, and reporting on data related to Colleague Services operations. This role involves identifying important service metrics and providing insights/dashboard to improve service performance. The Reporting Analyst will work closely with partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Extract data for measuring Key Service Metrics and relevant indicators/reports and develop Power-BI dashboards for daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting.

Collaborate with ServiceNow and Cisco (and/or approved partners) technical team and customers to develop or modify definitions.

Develop Service Now and Cisco unified intelligence centre dashboards and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting.

Identify and report bugs in the ServiceNow tool, Cisco unified intelligence centre and test corrections in UAT.

Monitor metrics and identify areas for improvement in service levels and fulfil ad-hoc data requests and provide important insights.

Crucial Metrics Supervised: Service level agreement (SLA) compliance

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

4-5 years of experience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

Proficiency in Power-BI and other reporting tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Superb communication and presentation skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple reporting tasks and meet targets.

Education and Professional Skills:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Professional certifications in business intelligence.

Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools, solid attention to detail and the ability to interpret sophisticated data sets.
