Job Description

Join Thales' Operations-Industry Performance team in Bordeaux as an Operations Support and Industrial Competitiveness Manager. You will be instrumental in defining strategic objectives for the Customer Support and Services Directorate, supporting operational and competitiveness challenges. This role involves deploying operational competitiveness practices, fostering best practice exchange, and implementing synergies. You will ensure departmental performance, optimize governance, drive continuous improvement projects, and define KPIs for quality, cost, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will contribute to budget management and coordinate updates for standard costs, proposing innovative digital solutions. This position requires travel within France.

  • Ideally, knowledge of the industrial environment and production and repair processes
Must Have:
  • Ensure the performance of the Services Industry Department (managing instances, inventory reviews, etc.)
  • Implement optimal governance, support changes in practices, and contribute to improving team performance
  • Define, implement, and animate KPIs to achieve quality, cost, deadline, and customer satisfaction objectives, ensuring data quality
  • Contribute to the construction and management of annual budgets and MYB (Budget, Headcount, Investments, etc.)
  • Coordinate and manage the updating of packages and standard costs with the contribution of management control, the cost unit, and data management
  • Coordinate continuous improvement projects and propose innovative digital solutions while ensuring communication on the service's challenges and initiatives
  • BAC+5 degree (Master's equivalent) in engineering, business school, or equivalent, specialized in Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management
  • Confirmed experience of several years in transverse management, project management, and problem-solving methods
  • Knowledge of industrial management control and the MYB process
  • Proficiency in an ERP (ideally SAP)

On a cutting-edge Bordeaux Campus, between ocean and vineyards, we design and develop systems, equipment, and services to ensure the success of our clients' airborne missions.

Join our Operations-Industry Performance team within the Customer Support and Services (CSS) Directorate as Operations Support and Industrial Competitiveness Manager (M/F)! You will contribute to defining the strategy to achieve the Directorate's business objectives and support the Operations Manager in their operational and competitiveness challenges. You will deploy operational competitiveness practices and actively participate in the exchange of best practices and the implementation of synergies.

Missions:

  • Ensures the performance of the Services Industry Department (managing instances, inventory reviews, etc.),
  • Implements optimal governance, supports changes in practices, and contributes to improving team performance,
  • Defines, implements, and animates KPIs to achieve quality, cost, deadline, and customer satisfaction objectives, ensuring data quality,

Your profile

  • Knowledge of industrial management control and the MYB process,
  • *Ideally, knowledge of the industrial environment and production and repair processes*,
  • Proficiency in an ERP (ideally SAP).
