Job Description

The Radar Sub-Assemblies Repair Engineer (M/F) will join the Radar repair line of the Customer Support and Services Directorate (CSS) in Bordeaux. This role involves providing technical support for complex diagnostics and repairs of radar sub-assembly products, utilizing new technologies and tools. Key responsibilities include conducting expert analyses, implementing technical actions to reduce repair time, supporting technicians, and leading improvement initiatives on a cutting-edge campus.

Must Have:
  • Lead complex diagnostics and repairs using new technologies (JTAG, various tools, analyzers) on analog, digital, and hyperfrequency products.
  • Perform expert analyses with engineering services, quality assurance, or clients.
  • Identify and implement technical actions to reduce product repair time.
  • Provide support to technicians (research for short and long-term solutions).
  • Lead brief cells and ensure activity reporting.
  • Carry out improvement projects (5S, ergonomics, kaizens) and support progress initiatives.
  • Hold a Bac+5 degree in engineering or equivalent specialized in electronics.
  • Possess experience in industrial culture (production/repair), ideally in military aeronautics.
  • Demonstrate expertise in analog, digital, and hyperfrequency electronics.
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement and problem-solving tools.
  • Ability to facilitate team meetings and work within a network of multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
  • Capacity to mobilize internal stakeholders on priority subjects.

Your daily life

On a cutting-edge Bordeaux Campus, between ocean and vineyards, we design and develop systems, equipment, and services to ensure the success of our clients' airborne missions.

By joining us in this position, you will integrate the Radar repair line of the Customer Support and Services (CSS) Directorate in Bordeaux as a Radar Sub-Assemblies Repair Support Engineer (M/F). You will join a team of about fifty people and your role will be to provide technical support for complex diagnostics and repairs for our radar sub-assembly products.

Missions:

  • Leads complex diagnostics and repairs using new technologies (JTAG tools, various tools, analyzers) on analog, digital, and hyperfrequency products.
  • Performs expert analyses with engineering services, quality assurance, or clients.
  • Identifies and implements technical actions to reduce product repair time.
  • Provides support to technicians (research for short and long-term solutions).
  • Animates brief cells.
  • Ensures reporting of activities.
  • Carries out improvement projects (5S, ergonomics, kaizens) and supports/drives progress initiatives.

Your profile

You hold a Bac+5 degree obtained from an engineering school or equivalent, specialized in electronics, and have experience that has allowed you to acquire an industrial culture (production/repair), ideally in the military aeronautics field, as well as the following skills:

  • Electronics: analog, digital, hyperfrequency.
  • Continuous improvement and implementation of problem-solving tools.
  • Team meeting facilitation and accustomed to working within a network of multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
  • Ability to mobilize your internal stakeholders on priority subjects.
