Job Summary

Join the global center for helicopter avionics and digital services. As an IVV Navigation Products Engineer, you will prepare and execute tests on avionics equipment validation platforms, document anomalies, manage test platforms, use measurement devices, and contribute to technical analysis. You will also develop test scripts in Python or Matlab, and provide technical support to the IVV team, contributing to the modernization and decarbonization of aeronautical mobility.

Must Have

  • Prepare and execute tests on avionics equipment validation platforms.
  • Record and document anomalies, ensuring traceability.
  • Participate in managing and maintaining test platforms and tools.
  • Use electronic measuring devices (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters).
  • Contribute to technical analysis of test results and anomaly resolution.
  • Develop test scripts in Python or Matlab for automation.
  • Provide technical support to the IVV team.
  • Bac+5 in Electronics, Aeronautics, or Computer Science.
  • Knowledge in signal processing.
  • Proficiency in Python and Matlab.
  • Practical experience with electronic measuring devices.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to IVV methods.
  • Technical English (oral and written).

Good to Have

  • Proficiency or knowledge of test automation tools.
  • Experience with test benches and requirements/anomaly management tools.
  • Knowledge of aeronautical standards (DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754).

Your daily life

By joining us, you will integrate into the global center of gravity for our helicopter avionics activities. It also houses our digital services activities.

We are looking for an IVV Navigation Products Engineer (M/F), on a permanent contract.

The site develops and manufactures state-of-the-art navigation equipment for civil and military aeronautical programs (GNSS receivers, radio altimeters, inertial navigation equipment). The IVV department plays a key role in the integration, verification, and validation of systems, contributing to the modernization and decarbonization of aeronautical mobility.

Under the supervision of an experienced IVV engineer, your missions will be to:

  • Prepare and execute tests on avionics equipment validation platforms (functional integration, environment, performance, etc.),
  • Record and document anomalies detected during test phases and ensure their traceability until resolution,
  • Participate in the management and maintenance of test platforms, test engineering tools, and related data sets,
  • Use measurement devices (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.) to characterize and test equipment,
  • Contribute to the technical analysis (electricity, radio, hyperfrequency) of test results and the search for solutions to anomalies,
  • Use and develop test scripts in Python or Matlab to automate test execution and results processing,
  • Provide technical support to the IVV team and hierarchy on integration, verification, and validation issues,
  • Participate in experience sharing and skill development among IVV department members.

Your profile:

You have a Bac+5 (engineering school or equivalent) in Electronics, Aeronautics, or Computer Science and have:

  • Knowledge in signal processing,
  • Proficiency in Python and Matlab for test execution and automation,
  • Practical experience using electronic measuring devices (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters),
  • An ability to learn and adapt quickly to the IVV profession,
  • Technical English (oral and written),
  • Ideally, you have proficiency or knowledge of test automation tools, experience on test benches and requirements/anomaly management tools, or knowledge of aeronautical standards (DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754, etc.)
