Job Summary

You will provide operational support for the PAS infrastructure, handling incidents and processing service requests. This role focuses on supporting and coaching PAS Level 1 support, delivering engineering-level input into operational improvements, and maintaining up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and clarity in daily operations. You will need to deliver proactive and structured support aligned with ITIL processes, focusing on service improvement.

Must Have

  • Provide operational support for PAS infrastructure
  • Handle incidents and process service requests
  • Support and coach PAS Level 1 support
  • Deliver engineering input for operational improvements
  • Maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform corrective maintenance and performance monitoring
  • Deploy/activate L3 change packages
  • Manage site collections and SharePoint applications
  • Administer Managed Metadata, User Profiles, Search Services
  • Tune database and performance, check SharePoint farm health
  • Proficiency in IaaS, DMZ, SSI, PAS, VMWare basics
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint basics
  • Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL databases
  • Knowledge of web hosting (IIS & Apache)
  • Ability to install and configure SharePoint components
  • Manage user access and authorization in SharePoint
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Monitor system alerts and resolve minor incidents
  • Monitor application usage and storage space
  • Implement security and compliance policies
  • Ability to follow technical procedures
  • Fluent English communication
  • ITIL V4 foundation certification

  • Incident handling and service request processing
  • Corrective maintenance and Performance monitoring
  • Deployment/activation of change packages submitted by L3
  • Triggering and managing the L1
  • Creation and management of site collections (web portals).
  • Deployment of SharePoint applications
  • Management of updates and patches
  • Administration of key services such as Managed Metadata, User Profiles and Search Services
  • Tuning Database and performance
  • Check health SharePoint farms

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. – intermediate
