SAP Basis - Migration Consultant

T-Systems ICT India Pvt. Ltd., a Great Place To Work® Certified™ subsidiary of T-Systems International GmbH, is seeking an SAP Basis - Migration Consultant. This full-time role involves performing SAP Basis administration, heterogeneous migrations of SAP NetWeaver products, SAP NW upgrades, Unicode conversions, and managing SAP migrations using DMO, nZDM/ZDO, and SDMI. The consultant will also administer Oracle DB (11g-19c) and SAP HANA DB, focusing on installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and HA/DR setup. The role requires 6-9 years of experience and a strong understanding of Linux OS and scripting.

Must Have

• Perform SAP Basis administration, troubleshooting, refresh, restore, and recovery
• Perform heterogeneous migration of SAP NetWeaver products using ABAP and JAVA
• Execute SAP NW upgrades, Unicode conversions, and downtime optimization
• Manage SAP migrations using DMO, nZDM/ZDO, and SDMI technologies
• Handle SAP S/4HANA conversions from any database
• Administer Oracle DB (installation, upgrades, patching, performance tuning)
• Administer SAP HANA DB (installation, upgrade, HA/DR, performance optimization)
• Work on OS Linux, shell scripting, and performance analysis
• Strong SAP Basis with migration experience (SUM/DMO)
• Oracle DB: EBS architecture, patching, upgrades, PL/SQL, OEM, performance tuning
• SAP HANA: administration, HA/DR, EWA analysis, Solution Manager integration
• Knowledge of nZDM, ZDO, SDMI technologies
• Good understanding of Linux OS and scripting

Good to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Job Description

Experince : 6 years - 9 years

• Perform SAP Basis administration: system performance troubleshooting, refresh, restore, and recovery.
• Perform heterogeneous migration of SAP NetWeaver products using ABAP and JAVA with Export Import and Backup Restore methods
• Execute SAP NW upgrades, Unicode conversions, and downtime optimization.
• Manage SAP migrations using DMO, nZDM/ZDO, and SDMI technologies.
• Handle SAP S/4HANA conversions from any database.
• Administer Oracle DB (mandatory): installation, upgrades (11g19c), patching, EBS architecture, performance tuning, and routine DBA tasks.
• Administer SAP HANA DB: installation, upgrade, refresh, HA/DR setup, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Work on OS Linux, shell scripting, and performance analysis.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Required Skills:

• SAP Basis with strong migration experience (SUM/DMO).
• Oracle DB: EBS architecture, patching, upgrades, PL/SQL, OEM, performance tuning.
• SAP HANA: administration, HA/DR, EWA analysis, Solution Manager integration.
