Data Engineer

This Data Engineer role requires 7-12 years of experience in DevOps and Data Engineering, focusing on Kubernetes, GitOps, IaaS (Terraform), Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies to deliver integrated IT solutions.

Must Have

• Expertise in DevOps practices
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including GitOps (ArgoCD)
• Proficiency in Kubernetes resource templating (Helmcharts, Kustomize)
• Hands-on experience with Ingress Controllers (Traefik, Nginx), Cert-manager, Load Balancers, HAProxy
• Experience with Azure services: Private Node Pools, KeyVault, Application Gateway, Postgresql, Eventhub, VNETs, Subnets, Virtual Machines, Container Registries, Cost Management, Billing, Entra ID, Log Analytics
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Understanding of Docker, Docker File, Docker Registry, and automated builds
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and project administration
• Knowledge of GitFlow and Semantic Versioning
• Practitioner of AGILE methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience in Code Management, Code Versioning, Git flow, and Release Planning
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
• Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to learn and adapt

Good to Have

• Experience provisioning data platforms like Kubeflow, thingsboard, apache superset, Dremio, etc.

• Expert level understanding of distributed computing principles (Big Data Processing)
• Working experience as Data Engineer in Cloud environment (Microsoft Azure)
• Understanding of designing Data Pipelines for ETL process (Databricks/Delta table/Spark)
• Good knowledge and hands on experience in Apache Spark (Batch and Streaming data)
• Understanding/Experience in designing and setting up Delta lakehouse architecture (Data vault 2.0, Data mart/Star Schema, Snowflake)
• Exposure to querying technologies like DremIO

Minimum 7 to 12 Years of in Devops + Data Engineering related technology experience-
