Job Summary
Thales is seeking an Occupational Doctor (M/F) for its Moirans and Valence sites in France. The role involves conducting periodic medical examinations for approximately 1300 employees, leading a medical team of nurses, and advising management on health prevention. The doctor will also participate in risk studies, psychosocial risk management, and group-wide health and well-being initiatives. This position requires a degree in Occupational Medicine and strong interpersonal skills.
Must Have
- Ensure periodic medical examinations for approximately 1300 employees.
- Organize and lead the medical team (2 nurses in Moirans, 1 in Valence).
- Conduct studies on posts and risks (chemical, CMR, electromagnetic, handling, work accidents, noise, international travel, work at height).
- Advise management on health prevention and improvement proposals.
- Participate in group policy on occupational health, quality of life at work, and employment of people with disabilities.
- Ensure interface with Establishment Managements and HSE teams.
- Participate in CSSCT and Handicap commission.
- Be a graduate in Occupational Medicine.
- Possess strong listening skills and solid relational qualities.
- Be proactive, rigorous, and organized.

The Occupational Health Department of the Moirans (Isère) & Valence (Drôme) sites is looking for its Occupational Doctor M/F.
Located on our sites in Moirans near Grenoble and Valence, you will ensure periodic medical examinations for fitness and special monitoring of employees at these sites, approximately 1300 employees.
Reporting to the Human Resources Department of the Moirans site, you will join a team consisting of 2 nurses based in Moirans and 1 nurse based in Valence, who report hierarchically to you.
- You organize and lead the medical team. You also benefit from the presence of a social worker.
- You independently assume all responsibilities of the Occupational Doctor: medical examinations, studies of posts and risks (chemistry and CMR, electromagnetic, handling, work accidents, noise, international travel and construction sites, work at height…), recommendations and advice on the organization of emergency services and training of first responders, prevention and management of psychosocial risks, alerts and individual and/or collective action plans if necessary.
- You advise Management on health prevention, post studies, and improvement proposals.
- You participate in the Group's policy focused on prevention and on improving the quality and well-being at work, particularly through agreements such as the one on quality of life at work.
- You are also led, as a team, to organize information/awareness campaigns on topics related to your scope of competence.
- You participate in projects related to the Group's policy on occupational health, quality of life at work, and employment of people with disabilities.
- You ensure the interface with the Establishment Managements and HSE teams and also participate in certain joint bodies, notably the CSSCT and the Handicap commission.
- Furthermore, you will integrate the network of Thales Group doctors, as the Thales Group has had, since 2017, an autonomous and approved Occupational Health Service, led by a coordinating doctor and composed of a network of about twenty doctors distributed by geographical area throughout France.
Your profile
You have a degree in Occupational Medicine.
With initial experience in the field of Occupational Health, you demonstrate strong listening skills and solid relational qualities.
