The Ops Team Lead/Process Assistant supports in managing the day-to-day operational functions for the Logistics Center departments and in the most cost-effective manner while meeting the needs of both the internal and external customer. The role combines hands-on operational management with training, mentoring, and reporting to ensure productivity, safety, and quality goals are met.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coaching & Support: Oversee, train, and provide performance feedback to reports, ensuring high productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness. Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality and safety.
- Operational Management: Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, organize merchandise, and maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
- Production Planning: Develop production schedules and allocate resources to ensure timely completion of job assignments, while maintaining records of time and production.
- Activity Monitoring/Reporting: Track and send operational reports to designated operation personnel to inform decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in warehouse or logistics leadership, with specific experience in warehouse fulfillment or e-commerce management involving onsite ordering, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Metrics: Skills monitoring teams daily production goals and dynamically meeting company KPIs.
- WMS Familiarity: Experience in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Conflict Management: Skills in resolving conflicts and managing team dynamics.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting at least 40 lbs; weight may vary based on facility requirements. Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
