The OTC Accounting Internship offers you a great opportunity to be a part of global team operating in constantly changing environment to support daily operations of the Financial Department. Team members are expected not only to have skills to analyze data and surface takeaways but must also participate in cross-functional decision-making processes. As an OTC Accounting intern, you will be responsible for daily accounting transactions such as maintaining customers outstanding balances, reviewing discrepancies and reconciliation of Ledger and Sub ledger accounts. Reporting directly to finance manager gives you an opportunity to participate in high-level meetings and observe how the company operates at a larger scale.
- Combine data from different sources to develop meaningful reports
- Perform daily activities such as reconciliation of accounts, invoice postings and customer records updates in the Accounting/Reporting systems
- Follow the Company Order to Cash procedures and practices
- Developing and maintaining key project metrics
- Identifying/ analyzing the roots causes of outstanding aged items and follow up with various teams to resolve them
- Gaining knowledge in Microsoft AX, Excel, Power BI and SQL
- Studying Accounting, or Economics/Finance with Accounting modules
- Evidence of exceptional ability, especially within an ambiguous environment
- Demonstrated success driving tangible impact / influencing within a broader organization
- Good analytical skills (e.g. Microsoft Office applications, financial modeling, etc.)
- Level C1 in English (written & spoken)
- Good communication skills particularly with senior business leaders
