Avalanche Studios Group and its creative self publishing division, Expansive Worlds are looking for a Outsourcing Producer to help craft cutting-edge game worlds and content. The role can be based out of the beautiful cities Malmö or Stockholm in Sweden and can be in-office or hybrid. We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven person that can lead our outsourcing efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, communicating and monitoring our outsourcing efforts and the deliveries related to this. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully working with outsourcing partners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within project timelines. This is a new effort we’re starting, and you’ll be owning and driving it, meaning this role comes with both lots of freedom and responsibility.

Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in creating and driving successful outsourcing partnerships that contribute to the overall success of our game. This is a growth-opportunity, as this role is new to the project and we need you to come in and help make us succeed in this new effort.

Responsibilities

    • Devise and implement an outsourcing strategy in sync with Project Leadership.
    • Identify, onboard, and manage outsourcing partners, ensuring their output meets our quality benchmarks.
    • Ensure we provide the right documentation and on-boarding support for outsourcing partners.
    • Be the point of contact between our internal teams and external partners, facilitating smooth workflow and integration of outsourced assets.
    • Uphold quality by providing comprehensive feedback, closely monitoring deliverables, and addressing discrepancies swiftly.
    • Collaborate with the legal team and stakeholders to negotiate and finalize contracts with outsourcing partners, ensuring clear expectations and mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Manage the budget for outsourcing partnerships, tracking expenses, and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, work orders, and vendor communications.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations, capturing lessons learned, and implementing improvements for future outsourcing partnerships.

Qualifications

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
    • Demonstrated experience in successfully integrating outsourced assets into the game development pipeline.
    • Negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project requirements and feedback to external vendors.
    • Project management skills, with a proven ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
    • Solid understanding of game development processes, art pipelines, and technical requirements.
    • Detail-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on quality control and delivering high-quality work.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to address issues proactively and find effective solutions.

It’s a physical representation of our games – the lush vegetation of Just Cause and theHunter: Call of the Wild meets corroded metal straight out of Mad Max. It has everything you need to make it your creative base camp.
