Job Description

This varied and high-paced role involves leading a team responsible for processing unit movements (Applications, Redemptions, Transfers, Switches) and providing high-quality, timely, and accurate reporting to internal stakeholders. The Team Lead will also manage team members, complete performance appraisals, resolve reconciliation breaks, ensure unit movements are complete, and assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Must have:
  • Assist with delivery of client reporting accurately & within SLA requirements.
  • Team management, positive role model; meeting with the team members 1-1 on a regular basis.
  • Timely completion of performance appraisals and performance management.
  • Investigate and resolve any breaks or variances in reconciliations.
  • Ensuring that all unit movements are complete ahead of finalising reporting deliverables.
  • 6+ years Financial Services experience.
  • 3+ years transaction processing experience.
  • 1+ years team leadership demonstrated people leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of trade settlement processes and investment administration.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry particularly funds management, custody, and platforms.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Particularly good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Role Purpose:

This varied and high paced role involves a combination of leading people and responsibility for the team’s processing of unit movements Applications, Redemptions, Transfers and Switches, providing reporting deliverables to key internal stakeholders and to deliver these requirements in high quality, timely and accurate manner.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with delivery of client reporting accurately & within SLA requirements. Immediate escalation of any quality or timeliness issues to Dealing Team Leader.
  • Team management, positive role model; meeting with the team members 1-1 on a regular basis
  • Timely completion of performance appraisals and performance management
  • Provide input for all documentation related to the role such as procedures and checklists
  • Investigate and resolve any breaks or variances in reconciliations
  • Ensuring that all unit movements are complete ahead of finalising reporting deliverables.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.

Knowledge and experience

  • 6+ years Financial Services experience
