We are seeking a Paid Media Ops Specialist for a fast-growing US client, an Inc. 5000 honoree. This role involves the operational execution of paid media campaigns, pixel tracking, and reporting, supporting the Account Lead in achieving client performance goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about Paid Media strategies, A/B testing, analytics, and CRO, and thrives in a hardworking, collaborative, and remote team environment, aiming to deliver world-class marketing results.
Must have:
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Marketing (or equivalent)
  • Strong product knowledge on Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax, YouTube) and/or LinkedIn Ads
  • Experience utilizing automation tools like Google Ads scripts and Zapier
  • Understanding of AI's power and limitations, and how to apply it for productivity (e.g., research, writing, data analysis, strategy, ideation, Google Ad Scripts)
  • Comfortable with auditing websites, identifying key conversion points, and setting up complex conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager (javascript, APIs, custom events, element visibility)
  • Solid understanding of UTM parameters
  • Ability to build and manage dashboards in Looker Studio, with experience using Supermetrics
  • Familiarity with advanced Looker Studio features (data blends, calculated fields, regular expressions, advanced filtering)
  • Strong verbal and asynchronous communication skills (video conferencing, Slack, project management tools)
  • Highly organized and process-driven, proficient in project management tools
  • Analytical and data-driven, comfortable analyzing data to draw actionable insights
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, building charts, vlookups)
  • Proven track record of achieving results and identifying opportunities
  • Typically 3+ years of Google Ads/LinkedIn Ads experience managing large budgets (US$10k+ monthly)
  • Passionate about Paid Media, actively engaging with content and forums
Good to have:
  • Experience in B2B SaaS/Enterprise technology
  • Experience in other Paid Media channels (e.g., Reddit Ads, Programmatic)
  • Web development skills (HTML/CSS, Javascript)
  • Experience with landing page optimization using Unbounce
  • Experience at an agency, startup, or as a consultant

We're looking for a Paid Media Ops Specialist to work with our US client. They’re a small and mighty team that’s fast-growing (they’ve been an Inc. 5000 honoree twice now) and looking to evolve into a world-class leading agency, driving amazing results as marketers.

As a Paid Media Ops - Specialist, you will handle operational execution of campaigns, pixel tracking and reporting, supporting the Account Lead in driving and achieving performance goals for our clients.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • Educational background - you have a least a Bachelors degree in Science/Mathematics/Engineering/Marketing (or equivalent)
  • Paid Media Mega-Mastery - you have strong product knowledge on Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax, YouTube) and/or LinkedIn Ads, knowing what product features to utilize in order to achieve the desired performance outcome. You frequently look into using automation to help improve efficiency such as utilizing Google Ads scripts and Zapier.
  • AI Driven - you understand the power and limitations of AI. You know when, where, and how to apply it to increase productivity and speed. Examples of this may include:
  • Research
  • Writing
  • Data Analysis
  • Strategy Development
  • Ideation
  • Creating Google Ad Scripts
  • Pixel tracking and management - you are comfortable with auditing and identifying a website’s key conversion points and setting up conversion tracking that’s more complex (e.g. javascript, APIs, custom events, element visibility) beyond thank you pages through Google Tag Manager. Solid understanding of utm parameters.
  • Looker Studio / Supermetrics - you can build and manage great-looking dashboards in Looker Studio, and have experience using Supermetrics. You are familiar with using advanced features, such as data blends, calculated fields, regular expressions (regex), and advanced filtering.
  • Strong communication skills - you are an effective communicator verbally over video conferencing, as well as asynchronously over Slack and project management tools. You understand the importance of over-communicating, especially in a remote role, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Highly organized & process driven - you’re able to use project management tools to break out that tasks need to be done by when and by who, stay on top of multiple projects and ensure client delivery is met. You’re a self-starter who needs minimal supervision/instruction who is proactive on getting things done.
  • Analytical and data driven - you don’t just make guesses as to why metrics go up or down, but are comfortable diving deep and analyzing data in order to draw actionable insights and conclusions. You have strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, building charts, vlookups)
  • Results driven - you have a track record of achieving results, and if you’re not getting results, you have an insatiable appetite to identify opportunities, get buy-in and execute. You know how to identify where the opportunities are in order to move the needle, and not be focused on just checking off a checklist (although those are important)
  • Real Experience - you have a proven track record of Paid Media achievements, with typically 3+ years of Google Ads/LinkedIn Ads experience of managing large budgets (US$10k+ monthly)
  • Passionate About Paid Media - your YouTube history is filled with Paid Media content, you are in the Paid Media forums, you could talk for hours about this stuff, it’s more than a job - it’s what makes you great professionally.

Nice To Have:
