About us:As a Payroll Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of payroll professionals with extensive experience. You will help our clients provide payroll to their employees in a way which supports their business culture and strategy. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work on a challenging, evolving and varied client portfolio, with opportunities to develop being the primary point of contact for clients in relation to particular clients;
Embrace and drive the digital transformation underway in our business;
Assist in the ongoing management of client relationships, business development and participate in various consultancy projects, as required;
Participate in and utilise the strong team based approach and flexible working environment of payroll services with efficient ownership and delivery of personal assignments and collaboration with team members, reporting into an experienced management team of an Operations Manager, Senior Manager and Partner;
Development of your own career through identification and delivery of personal performance goals, aligned to PwC’s business targets;
Be part of and contribute to the collaborative working environment offered by PwC and act as an advocate to promote our learning culture
About you – Key Competencies & Experience:
At least 2 years experience in payroll services;
Completing the IPASS qualification or being IPASS qualified is not essential but desirable
Commercial acumen - awareness of and contribution to profitability of the payroll services being provided to our clients and make appropriate suggestions to management team in relation to proposed costs and / or query resolution;
Client Relationship management - ability to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality, diverse relationships;
Creativity - demonstrate an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems, also taking into account risk management and appropriate adherence to existing protocols;
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
Enthusiastic team player with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential;
Ambitious – demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development.
