Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Total Rewards Reporting Analyst to join our team. This role is critical for payroll and compliance, focusing on data integrity, auditing, and reporting. The successful candidate will leverage payroll tools like Workday, CloudPay, and ADP to create and deliver essential reports for payroll processing, internal audit, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. This individual will work hands-on with the payroll team to process and execute detailed payroll audits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of each pay cycle. Additionally, this role will serve as a key data partner for the broader Total Rewards teams, providing reports and analysis to support their initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Corporate Tax, HRIS).
  • Ensure data consistency across HR, Payroll, and Finance systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Payroll, HR, or Finance reporting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday.
  • Proven experience supporting Internal or SOX audits.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of large-scale payroll/HRIS systems (Workday, CloudPay, ADP, NetSuite).
  • Strong understanding of payroll calculations, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Total Rewards Reporting Analyst to join our team. This role is a critical component of our payroll and compliance framework, focusing on data integrity, auditing, and reporting. The successful candidate will leverage our payroll tools, Workday, CloudPay & ADP to create and deliver essential reports in order to perform critical analysis for Payroll processing, Internal Audit, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, ensuring our processes are accurate and compliant.

This individual will work hands-on with the payroll team to process and execute detailed payroll audits, guaranteeing the accuracy and timeliness of each pay cycle. Additionally, this role will serve as a key data partner for the broader Total Rewards teams (Compensation and Benefits), providing reports and analysis to support their initiatives.

What You’ll Do

Payroll Auditing & Data Integrity:

  • Conduct detailed pre- and post-payroll audits using tools like Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and automation macros.
  • Verify accuracy of payroll data including new hires, terminations, salary changes, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with payroll specialists.
  • Continuously improve audit processes to strengthen accuracy and compliance controls.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Design, generate, and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports from Workday, CloudPay, and ADP systems.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reports for periodic, quarterly, and annual audits (Internal, SOX, and external).
  • Partner with Payroll Manager to respond to audit inquiries and ensure complete documentation.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and workflows for reporting and compliance activities.
  • Validate report data to ensure accuracy and consistency before distribution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Support Compensation and Benefits teams with ad-hoc reporting and data insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Corporate Tax, HRIS) to resolve payroll and tax-related issues.
  • Support payroll operations during peak cycles, system testing, and special projects.
  • Ensure data consistency across HR, Payroll, and Finance systems as a data integrity steward.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Payroll, HR, or Finance reporting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday (Reporting, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation modules).
  • Proven experience supporting Internal or SOX audits.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation, etc.).
  • Knowledge of large-scale payroll/HRIS systems such as Workday, CloudPay, ADP, or NetSuite.
  • Strong understanding of payroll calculations, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a publicly traded company.
  • Exposure to Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
  • Broader understanding of Total Rewards, including compensation and benefits processes.
