Our client is seeking a Payroll Specialist for an exciting contract to hire scenario. This role involves timely and accurate processing of weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls for over 60,000 employees across multiple states, Canada, PR, and VI. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing financial information, resolving payroll discrepancies, managing employee maintenance, and preparing reports. The specialist will ensure payroll integrity through audits, maintain confidentiality, and stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Strong customer service, organizational skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency are essential.
Good To Have:- Associates degree or Technical Training preferred.
- 1+ years of payroll or data entry experience preferred.
- 1+ years of experience using a payroll software system, especially ADP and/or Kronos, preferred.
- Professionalism, with an emphasis on customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.

- Maintains knowledge of company payroll policies and procedures, guidelines and regulations.
- Provides customer service and problem resolution to operational staff.
- GED or High School Diploma required.
