The Payroll Specialist will manage the payroll close process for Argentina and Peru, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Key responsibilities include collecting and reviewing payroll changes, preparing journal entries for period-end closing, and coordinating with payroll service providers. The role also involves leading special projects, developing procedures for compliance, managing payroll audits, mapping journal entries, and reviewing invoices. Additionally, the specialist will provide audit support and attend to employee inquiries regarding payroll.

Must Have:- Manage Payroll Close Process for Argentina and Peru
- Collect, review, and send payroll changes to outsourcing
- Prepare and review journal entries related to vacation, bonus accruals, and reconciliations
- Coordinate with payroll service providers and regulatory agencies
- Develop and update procedures to ensure compliance with internal control requirements
- Manage payroll audits, annual employer match true-up, and governmental/statutory payroll reporting
- Map payroll journal entries into the accounting system
- Review, approve, and ensure appropriate general ledger coding for all payroll, benefit, and related invoices
- Provide annual support for independent SOX and financial statement audits
- Answer all employee questions and requirements
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of payroll and internal controls
- Experience with integrated ERP and financial reporting systems, particularly Oracle R12
- Experience with ADP Workforce, Office, and Google tools
- Proven experience in payroll processing for Argentina
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
